• Bidding documents may be purchased by eligible Bidders from The Lutheran World Federation - Nepal , Bhutanese Refugee Project Damak, Jhapa, Phone Number 023584015/16, Fax No.023580025 or The Lutheran World Federation – Nepal , Country Office, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu , Phone Number 01444720152, 4720217, 4721271, Fax 014720225. on submission of a written application attaching copies of the Bidder's registration, VAT registration and tax clearance certificate of 2065/66 F/Y and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 4000.00 on or before August 3rd , 2010. The Bidding documents including specifications and Terms of Reference is also available from web site: lwfnepal.org only for the reference.
• Bids must be submitted at the above addresses on or before August 4 th , 2010 during office hour. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
• Bids shall be opened at 1.00 PM on August 6 th , 2010 in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend at LWF Nepal, BRP, Damak.
• Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security (Bank Guarantee) of amount stipulated in the table above and valid for 120 days counting from the date of bid opening. Bank voucher will not be accepted.
• Bidders shall quote the item rates in the bill of quantities exclusive of VAT.
• Bidders must have an experience of Building construction work of minimum amount NRs Ten million inclusive of vat with international Organization in Nepal and have completed at least two projects of similar nature.
• If the last date of bid purchase & submission and/or the bid opening happen to be a holiday the same will be done on the following day and bids received after the due date and time or with incomplete formalities will not be entertained.
• Only single contractor are allowed to bid. Joint venture and sub contracting is not allowed.
• The Lutheran World Federation - Nepal reserves the rights to reject or accept in part or in whole of any or all bids without assigning any reasons whatsoever and will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of the bids.
• Any amendment in the tender notice shall be published in the national daily newspaper with in seven days from the date of first published date.
